Characterized by its unique format and sound, which fuses elements of traditional Venezuelan music with distinct elements of jazz, pop, world music, and other Latin rhythms, Latin Grammy Award winning C4 Trio is without a doubt one of the most innovative and important musical ensembles to come out of Venezuela. Through the virtuosity of their performances, the creativity of their arrangements and their mastering of the traditional Venezuelan cuatro these gifted musicians have been able to navigate through diverse musical styles flawlessly and without any limitations.
Founded in 2005 by its current members, cuatro players Jorge Glem, Edward Ramírez and Héctor Molina, and later joined by bassist Rodner Padilla and the late Gustavo Márquez, C4 Trio has toured and performed in some of the most prestigious stages in Latin America, the United States, and Europe, showing the versatility and universality of the Venezuelan cuatro through their masterful musical performances. They recorded 6 albums and produced a commemorative DVD entitled “Los 10 de C4”, with great success and critical acclaim.

In 2013, C4 Trio obtained their first Latin Grammy nomination for their album, "Gualberto + C4", under the category of “Best Folk Album.” A year later, their album "De Repente," made in collaboration with the singer Rafael "Pollo" Brito, obtained a Latin Grammy for "Best Recording Engineering for an Album".
The accolades and musical achievements have continued to follow this ingenious musical ensemble. In 2018, they received a nomination for “Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album” at the 60thGrammy Awards with the album, "Pa Fuera," made in collaboration with the ska band, "Desorden Público." The following year, C4 Trio was awarded a Latin Grammy for their album, “Tiempo al Tiempo” made in collaboration with the singer Luis Enrique. This same album also received a nomination for “Best Tropical Latin Album” at the 62nd Grammy Awards.

C4 Trio continues touring worldwide and forging a unique place in the world music scene with the Venezuelan cuatro as its protagonist, breaking down musical barriers with its versatility.
